About Jordan Youth Potential

Jordan Youth Potential (JYP) is a Jordanian non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2023 in response to the growing need for young people to actively participate in shaping their communities and contributing to society. Founded by a group of passionate youth workers and community leaders, JYP is dedicated to empowering young people and unlocking their full potential through education, leadership development, civic engagement, and international cooperation.

At JYP, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of their background or circumstances. We place a special focus on empowering women, young people with fewer opportunities, and marginalized groups by providing inclusive programs, capacity-building initiatives, and access to local and international opportunities that promote personal and professional development.

Through innovative projects, youth exchanges, training courses, volunteering initiatives, and community-based activities, we create transformative learning experiences that inspire young people to become active citizens, confident leaders, and positive agents of change. Our work aims to foster leadership, creativity, intercultural understanding, social inclusion, and a strong sense of purpose, equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected and rapidly changing world.

Our primary target group consists of young people aged 15–35, both male and female, from all governorates of Jordan, while also engaging with international youth and partner organizations. We are committed to ensuring that young people facing social, economic, geographic, or educational barriers have equal access to opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential and actively contribute to the development of their communities.
